I nameless am
unknown unseen
anonymous
behind a screen
this darkness round
me hides none seek
I kneel alone
where all seems bleak
the Pharisee
shouts out is bold
my silent heart
is warm not cold
felt only by
the Three and me
who else need know
who else need see?
Like my friend Barney, I am coming to treasure silence and anonymity.

Valuing silence and anonymity comes, I think, with maturity, and healing of at least some of our wounds. As we are more comfortable with ourselves, and accepting of who and what we are, we no longer need so much recognition from others who don't know us.
amen to Iris and to your own words...yes...silence and only being known by the Unknowable
