He had nothing left to make,
his gifts all taken,
fake powers failed,
by all forsaken.

The need to sacrifice himself
bubbled in him like
the sole spring, his soul’s spring;
no less than all the water he had left;
hungry, thirsty, dried, he tried
only to give everything
from nothingness.
